Amenities

Common area

  • Group table for eating and working

  • Electric kettle for boiling water to make coffee, tea, oatmeal, etc.

  • Limited (but available) common fridge

  • Drinking water

Bathrooms

  • The Hayahay has its own bathroom with a flush toilet, sink, and shower. The Pioneer has its own shower and sink. The other bungalows share one large bathroom structure with many flush toilets, sinks, and showers.

  • Because the water source is collected rain water, it is critical that visitors reduce their water usage to ensure there is enough for everyone.

Internet and communication

  • The property has wifi at 25mbps. At its best, visitors are able to attend video meetings and work remotely. However, as a mountain town, Danao experiences electricity brown-outs that can wipe out the connection.

  • Phone signal does not work in Danao, but there is excellent signal on the trail to the crag (less than 10 minute walk from the bungalows).

Food

  • The property managers, Lisa and Heri, prepare lunch and dinner for climbers. Dishes feature fresh local foods, and can be made vegetarian or vegan with prior arrangement. Each morning on the way out to the crag, you can let Lisa and Heri know if you’d like lunch and/or dinner. Meals are 230 pesos and are paid in cash separately from bungalow rental payments.
